Doel van die PPAN Die doel van hierdie Vereniging is om: Beskerm en bevorder die belange van die produsente. Bevorder samewerking tussen produsente. Oefen doeltreffende produksie en ordelike bemarking van relevante produkte uit en beding voordele vir die produsente. Streef daarna om die beste moontlike verband tussen die produsente, verwerkers en die promotors van die produkte te bewerkstellig. Om die gekoördineerde sienings van die bedryf aan die owerhede oor te dra en om met die owerhede saam te werk om oplossings vir probleme te beding. Om met alle nasionale en internasionale belanghebbendes te kommunikeer om die kommoditeit te bevoordeel.
