A community of farmers practicing Regenerative Agriculture have come together to organise a Regenerative Agriculture Day, themed “Implementation of high-density grazing under Namibian conditions”. This event will take place on Saturday, 27 September 2025, at Neu-Otjisororindi Farm, Gobabis. It is ideal for farmers and agriculture enthusiasts looking to expand their knowledge of modern grazing techniques.
The focus of the day is high-density grazing, with practical insights and experiences shared by local and international experts.
The program includes:
Costs and benefits of high-density grazing – insights by Gerrit van Zyl (HanZyl Bonsmaras, South Africa)
Namibian producer panel discussion – experiences and best practices
Functional cattle under high-density grazing – practical kraal demonstration by Pikkie Uys (Drakensberg farmer, South Africa)
Field visit – see high-density grazing applied in practice at Neu-Otjisororindi
The day starts with registration and coffee at 07:30, with the programme kicking off at 08:30.
Registration fee is N$100.00 (N$150.00 at the gate).
