NAU Agribraai

The very first NAU Agribraai was held in the Gobabis district in 1980 and since then has evolved into Namibia's top agricultural festival with various stalls, quality music, and most importantly: fragrant barbecue dishes. Beloved Namibian chef and culinary personality, Sanet Prinsloo, will once again take the reins as head judge and consistently impart invaluable advice to participants.

Come join us on June 14 and 15, 2024, for the next NAU Agribraai presented by the Omuramba Farmers' Association, the 2023 winners.

Twenty farmers' associations nominate their best of the best, aiming to win N$20 000 and additional prizes, as well as the title of 2024 Namibia Braai Champions. Additionally, the Farmers' Association that wins, will be the host of the competition in 2025 with the assistance of various sponsors and the support of the NAU, thus achieving a financial injection for their community.

Even if you are not part of a farmers' association, you can still showcase your braaiing skills as twenty social teams from across Namibia also have the opportunity to participate in the fun.

None of this would be possible without the support of sponsors. This is the ideal opportunity to market your brand, not only to the agricultural community but also to the public attending the braai day. Any local business or organisation that would like to participate in making this special business event and traditional festival unforgettable, is welcome to contribute.

The following opportunities are available to participate and promote your business:

•        Cash sponsorship: To help present the event.

•        Donation of items: Prizes for the winners of the various categories.

•        Come showcase your products: Stalls are available for businesses and entrepreneurs who want to promote their unique products and services.

This marketing opportunity also enjoys extensive media coverage ranging from radio, social media, print media, and personal communication within the agricultural community. Seize this opportunity and support our local farmers.
